Created completely by hand, each journal is constructed from individually folded and hand-sewn signatures, a custom-cut hardcover case, and handmade book cloth. These are not commercially manufactured notebooks with decorated covers—every book is assembled from its individual materials using traditional bookbinding techniques.
The signatures are sewn together using a decorative French-link stitch. The spine is then glued and reinforced before the finished book block is carefully fitted into its handmade hardcover case. Decorative endpapers complete the interior and help connect the book block securely to the cover.
Because every journal is handmade, slight variations in fabric placement, dimensions and finishing may occur. These small differences are part of what makes each book unique.
